Iryna Borovets
Iryna Borovets is a Deputy Director at EPIK. Iryna is a senior diplomat and strategic leader with extensive experience in international relations, public diplomacy, and institutional management. She has held high-level leadership roles within the Government of Ukraine, most notably serving as the Director for Communications and Public Diplomacy and the Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2020-2024) during a period of significant geopolitical transformation.
In this capacity, she contributed to shaping Ukraine’s foreign policy, strengthening bilateral and multilateral partnerships, and advancing Ukraine’s strategic positioning globally. She oversaw Ukraine`s activities in international organizatins, political analysis, communications, public diplomacy initiatives, and civil society cooperation.
Alongside her diplomatic career, Iryna has substantial experience in executive coordination, team leadership, and strategic planning. She has managed multidisciplinary teams, structured complex policy processes, and delivered results in high-pressure international environments. Her leadership approach combines strategic vision with operational discipline and cross-institutional collaboration.
Iryna holds Master’s degrees in International Relations and Art History, reflecting her interdisciplinary approach to diplomacy and cultural engagement. She is fluent in Ukrainian, English, and Croatian and has extensive experience working in international and multicultural contexts.
